Story

Firescreek Botanical Winery has been operating for 20 years this year and makes wine from a wide variety of fruits and flowers using organic regenerative farming and permaculture principles as a way of growing. The multi-award-winning gardens organically grow over 40 plants and flowers from which they hand-produce wine. Set on 2.5 acres, the beautiful gardens feature 3 lily ponds, a food forest, wicking beds, a kiwi tunnel and a large rose ring, just to name a few, and the property is bordered on two sides by Fires Creek with a stunning rainforest/ eucalypt forest backdrop.  At any one time, the winery is producing on-site over 20 different wines and aims to push the boundaries in winemaking and delight taste buds; think raspberry wine, elderberry cinnamon and orange wine or even coffee, blackcurrant and chocolate wine.

Complimentary wine tasting from 10:30am and a dedicated staff member will be available from 10:30am – 4:00pm both Saturday and Sunday to answer questions and show you things of interest.  Please note that guests wishing to partake in other experiences offered at the winery such as chocolate and wine paring or the foraging and mixology workshop will need to pre-book via the winery’s website at https://firescreek.com.au

Come along to enjoy a stroll through some stunning gardens in a relaxed atmosphere. Learn some permaculture growing principles and regenerative farming techniques from a business who believe in earth care, people care and fair share.

Safety

Children must be supervised at all times as there are 3 large lily ponds and the winery has operating machinery and tools. Guests sampling wine must be of course over the age of 18, however, children are very welcome to accompany guests in the cellar door area and grounds. Some areas may be wet or damp so take care when walking and comfortable sturdy shoes are recommended.
