Our Story

We are enthusiastic volunteers

Passionate about community and sharing our knowledge of growing natural and local food

Inspired by the Edible Garden Trail movement and supported by Permaculture Central Coast, we are passionate about community and sharing our knowledge of growing natural and local food.

We want to encourage people to try growing food naturally at home by providing a direct connection between new and experienced gardeners, bringing opportunities to share knowledge, inspire and grow community.

Our Trail is only possible with the participation of our wonderful Garden Hosts: volunteers who love and generously share their gardens with visitors each year. The wealth of knowledge and wisdom held in this collective group is astounding and for those of you visiting gardens over the trail weekend, please take a moment to thank these wonderful people.

The first Edible Garden Trail took place in 2018 in the NSW Blue Mountains, the brainchild of Susanne Rix, this wonderful initiative has grown into a movement with new Edible Garden Trails popping up all over Australia. Perhaps you’d like to start your own.
