Our new website is live
We are so excited to share our brand new website with you. For our first Trail in 2022 we were able to run things with just social media. But this year with thanks to Central Coast Council Community Grants we have been able to create a website full of fantastic tools and features.
Tools and features
A few things to check out are:
- in the our gardens section you can look through all the current gardens, you can search by location or features, opening days and find out tour times for each garden. We have over 40 gardens lined up for this year’s Trail, and their profiles will be added over the next few weeks so please visit often to see whats been added.
- you can now register to become a garden host online – are you growing food naturally on the Central Coast and would you like to share your passion, knowledge and wisdom with visitors? We’d love to hear from you!
- learn about our story and why we wanted to start an Edible Garden Trail right here on the Central Coast.
- Did you know we are a not for profit event, run by volunteers? This means we are able to use the funds raised through ticket sales to support our community gardens and disadvantaged people living on the Coast, head to our blog to learn more.
- With so many gardens taking part in the Trail you’ll need to spend some time planning which gardens you’d like to visit – we’ve stepped you through this process in the plan your trail section.
- As you can imagine with so many experienced edible gardeners taking part in the Trail we have access to an incredible brains trust of tried and tested local knowledge, keep an eye on our news & tips as we have loads of wonderful local experts lined up to share their edible gardening experiences with you.
