Local Food Guide – 2025

Local Food Guide - a list of all our organic and regenerative farmers and more on the NSW Central Coast

At the Edible Garden Trail and Permaculture Central Coast, we’re all about growing food, but we know that no garden can be an island. While it’s incredibly rewarding to grow your own, we understand the challenge of trying to meet all your needs through gardening alone. With the pace of modern life, our goal is to find joy in balance—not stress in striving for self-sufficiency!

Community Sufficiency

Instead of aiming for self-sufficiency, we believe in community sufficiency. This concept is about complementing our homegrown food with the local, naturally produced food from our local community. It’s about creating a sustainable food system where we support each other, share resources, and embrace the diversity of what’s available. That’s why we’ve created the 2025 Local Food Guide, designed to help you find local, healthy, and sustainable food sources right here on the Central Coast.

Support Local, Eat Local

The Local Food Guide is your go-to resource for discovering local growers who prioritise organic practices, regenerative farming, and ethical food production. In it, you’ll find a list of farmers, markets, cooperatives, and even regular produce swaps happening around the coast, all with the goal of connecting you to fresh, local food.

And just down the road, also in Jilliby you’ll find GavAnn Garden Farm with their fantastic produce plus seedlings and plants for sale too

This guide is a community-driven effort, with no affiliations—just a celebration of people producing food that’s good for the planet and good for you. It’s our gift to the Central Coast, and we’re excited to share it with you!
