And while you’re planning why not pop in a refreshment stop or two. And of course please bring along your own coffee cup, and if you’re planning on takeaway food bring along a little container and cutlery to avoid single use packaging.

We’ll be kicking off proceedings for the Central Coast Edible Garden Trail at the brand new venue Naughty Noodle Fun Haus overlooking Kibble Park in Gosford. Please join us for a Welcome to Country with Tracey Howie from Girri Girra, and say hi to the Gardening Gang, Pete and Cheralyn from Coast FM, who will be broadcasting live at the Fun Haus from 8am-10am.
Drinks and Mexican Street Food by @chilangos_hermanos will be served on the deck. Yum!
The Chef’s Garden – 7 Poole Close, Empire Bay, at Impact Nursery

Chef Lorrae, (who is also opening her own home garden for the Central Coast Edible Garden Trail) has been able to combine her love for gardening and cooking into this exciting new café, to serve up delicious contemporary sustainable cuisine – all in the beautiful, serene rainforest oasis surrounds of Impact Nursery in Empire Bay. Chef Lorrae gains inspiration from the herbs, edible flowers and other unique plants growing in her abundant home garden to create incredible seasonal menus.
During the Trail, The Chef’s Garden Café will be offering a special dish and drink on their menu – using produce sourced from some of the Central Coast Edible Garden Trail gardens – celebrating the event in a uniquely local, community minded way.

Three Trees Cafe – 16 Laycock St, Wyoming

Just across the road from Laycock Street Theatre, Three Trees Café use a range of local suppliers and source B Corp certified organic coffee beans and coffee grounds. Food waste is collected by a local for composting. Drop in for coffee, morning tea, or the full monte lunch – such a yummy menu!
Narara Eco Village Coffee Cart – 33 Gugandi Road, Narara

With 7 gardens to see at Narara Eco Village, a visit to the coffee cart will keep you going. Serving organic coffee and the village’s own free range eggs from happy chooks you’ll find some yummy drinks and snacks available. Be sure to bring your reusable cups, containers and cutlery as the coffee cart aims to be waste free.
Like Minds Avoca – 352 The Round Drive, Avoca Beach

This café will be well known to many and is an inspiration to all those who frequent this amazing place. Like Minds is a community focused café with a truly sustainable and killer delicious menu.
They compost all their food and coffee waste, work closely with local suppliers (to help reduce food miles and packaging) and are working towards being waste free. Oh, and they grow lots of herbs, spices, fruit and vegetable in their own patch right onsite.
Like Minds Café also host a Market Day every Wednesday from 4-5:30pm, where local growers and makers sell freshly picked fruit and veg, free from nasty chemicals.
Ukuzala Coffee Cart – Killcare Heights

Bring along your reusable cup to enjoy coffee roasted on site in small batches and served from the cutest little coffee caravan you ever did see! Sip your coffee while you wander this incredible garden.
Jasmine Greens Park Kiosk – Peninsula Recreation Precinct, Sydney Road, Umina

Jasmine Greens Kiosk has won numerous local and NSW awards for Excellence in Sustainability…as well as the 2019 Australian Good Food Guide Readers’ Choice Award. Gives you an idea of how great this place is.
They place a strong focus on being a community-minded local café. Jasmine Greens Kiosk has a 100% recycling target, use solar energy and work closely with local schools to provide free barista training and cooking classes to local children. They have also set up a community garden where they will host gardening and cooking classes.
All produce and ingredients are sourced with a focus on social and environmental sustainability. They work with fair trade coffee growers, local farmers and providores to minimize pollution and negative impact on planet Earth.
Firescreek Botanical Winery – 192 Wattle Tree Road, Holgate

The multi-award-winning gardens of Firescreek Winery organically grow over 40 plants and flowers from which they hand-produce wine. Enjoy complimentary wine tasting as you wander the gardens.
